GEOD CONSULT SARL is a consultancy for technical studies, engineering, training and field surveys, registered in Mali and licensed as a consulting engineer (Agrément Ingénieur-Conseil). The company works in Mali and abroad.
Recommendations based
on calculations, not estimates.
Infrastructure projects are decided on data. GEOD CONSULT produces the studies that guide and justify the technical and structural choices of a project: site reconnaissance, surveys, calculations and sizing.
The company then proposes solutions for carrying out the works, and assesses the quality of what has been built. This continuity, from measured data through to the inspection of the finished structure, is what sets an engineering consultancy apart from a mere measurement contractor.
Led by a managing director, the company brings together engineers and technicians with complementary specialities, organised into four technical departments and supported by a dedicated administration.

Four technical departments,
one administration.
The four departments cover the full project cycle. They are supported by a secretariat and an accounts office, as well as by site supervision and works staff.
Study and design
Site reconnaissance, field surveys, calculations and sizing. The department produces the technical documents on which the client bases its decisions.
Implementation
Setting-out of structures, management of the works and coordination of all parties on site.
Monitoring and evaluation
Compliance checks, monitoring of engineering structures, diagnostics and an overall review of the quality of the completed works.
Training
Skills transfer to the client’s teams, covering both software tools and field methods.
Teams that go out
and collect the data.
Surveys in watercourses, structural monitoring, cross-section and profile surveys: measurements are taken by the company’s own teams, with its own equipment. Nothing is subcontracted blindly.
